MILLER — Carol Wangsness, 82, of Miller, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, surrounded by her family at home.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miller, with Rev. Max Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miller. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Reck Funeral Home in Miller. Masks are required at the funeral and strongly encouraged at the visitation.
Carol was born Waveline Carol Beers in Crawford, Neb., to Bruce and Esther Beers.
She married Darrell Wangsness April 9, 1964.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell; children, Melissa Wangsness, Angela Wangsness (Dale Trautman), and J.D. (Melanie) Wangsness; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brothers, Bill (Beverly)Williams and Bob Williams; sister, Sue (Bruce) Moore; her half-sisters and brother.
Greeting her in Heaven are her adopted parents, Everett and Aura Williams; biological parents, Bruce and Esther Beers; and daughter, Michelle.
