HURON — Clayton V. Carter, 93, of Huron, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at Kuhler Funeral Home, with military honors by Huron Veterans Council. Burial will be in Ideal Cemetery.
Visitation with family present, will be one hour prior to the service. His service will be live-streamed through the Kuhler Funeral Home Facebook page.
Clayton Vance Carter was born June 7, 1927, to Lynn “Al” and Doris (Knutson) Carter.
He married Veona “Vee” Carlson in 1952.
Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Huron to work at the family business “Al’s A1 Auto Repair” located north of Huron.
He is survived by a son, Bruce (Diane) Carter; two grandsons, Kyle (Shadra) Carter and Michael Carter; one granddaughter, Chelsea Rogers (Caden Stout); and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and daughter, Dianne (Jeff) Rogers.
