HURON — Beadle County was able to hold off topping the 500-positive mark for one more day on Tuesday, adding just one more positive test to the tally, putting the county’s total at 495. Unlike the previous day, this was not due to a lack of submitted tests, as the county had 24 negative tests recorded by the South Dakota Department of Health as well.
The county did add another 14 recovered cases, which brings the total recovered to 401. Beadle County has 88 active cases through Tuesday’s numbers, which is down notably from the peak of 208 active cases in early June.
There were 27 new positive tests reported statewide and 60 new recovered cases.
