HURON — What can be cuter than a baby’s precious smile or happy expression captured on a camera … how about 49 of them!
Huron Regional Medical Center hosted its tenth annual Cutest Baby Contest with a total of 49 entries being submitted to HRMC’s Facebook page during the month of March. During the month of April, there were a total of 6,497 votes cast.
Receiving the most votes to earn the “2018 Cutest Baby” title was Masyn Rose Bales, daughter of Lilly May and Treyton Bales. In her entry, the grandma Sarah May wrote “Masyn Rose is always happy and loves giving her ‘elf’ face. We love her!” As Cutest Baby, Masyn received an embroidered t-shirt and keepsake blanket, a $100 photo studio credit, a beach bag filled with $100 worth of games, toys and safety gear and an opportunity to star in an HRMC television commercial.
Receiving the next highest number of votes in the contest was Kamryn Solem, daughter of Sara and Alex Solem of Huron. In the entry, her parents wrote “Kamryn is lovable, happy, and content looking around with her big blue eyes. Brother thinks she is simply the best. She is the perfect addition to our family!” As Cutest Baby runner-up, Kamryn received an embroidered keepsake blanket and a beach bag filled with $50 worth of toys and safety gear.
