Dale Crump, 60, of Rapid City

RAPID CITY — Dale Lynn Crump, 60, of Rapid City, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at his home.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 28, at the Belle Fourche Healthcare Community.
Dale was born June 20, 1957, in Redfield to Elijah and Gladys Crump. He graduated from Redfield High School, and then from Mitchell Technical Institute with a degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). He was employed by Cenex in Huron before starting his own company, Dale’s Heating & Cooling. He also was the promoter of Dale’s Racing Promotions at the South Dakota State Fair Speedway for four years.
He was united in marriage to Kim Galliger May 9, 1981. The couple moved to Rapid City where he was employed by Action Mechanical followed by Pennington County.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Crump of Belle Fourche; daughters, Danielle (Dustin) Crump of Rapid City, Brittany (Nicholas) Trandahl of Upton, Wyo.; brother, Tommy Crump of Huron; father and mother in-law, Camden and Melba Galliger of Huron; brother and sister in-law, Craig and Julie Olivier of Huron;  two grandchildren; and three nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Randy Dobson; brother in-law, Elmer; and sister, Reita Dobson.
