BIG BEND — Dale Dunn, 51, of Big Bend, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at his home.
Funeral Mass will be 12 p.m., today at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Big Bend. Burial will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery at Big Bend.
Dale Dennis Dunn was born February 12, 1966, to Richard and Eleanore (Howe) Dunn in Pierre. He graduated from Harold High School in 1984. He enlisted in the United States National Guard and was given an honorable discharge. He had been employed by Quality Construction since 2005.
He loved spending time with his family playing cards, listening to 80’s music, and classic rock. He lived a humble life and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Elaine, Bonita, Tony, Chase, and Ambrose Dunn; children, Matt and Jodi Dunn; grandchildren, Malia and Dallas; nephews: Andy, Clay, and Adam; special friend, Minerva At The Straight; and his many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, “big sis” Gabes, and brother, Gordon Dunn; paternal grandparents, Richard Dunn, and Marguerite Kinyon; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Caroline Howe.
