HURON — David Bennett, 78, of Huron, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kuhler Funeral Home.
There will be a private family funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday live streamed on the Kuhler Funeral Home Facebook page.
David William Bennett was born July 24, 1941, to Charles and Leona (Bucholtz) Bennett in Wessington Springs. He entered the United States Army shortly after school.
On May 29, 1964, he married Donna Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Darwin (Torrie) Bennett, Deanna (Lance) Loecker, and Dwayne (Mirsa) Bennett; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three siblings, Don (Ruth) Bennett, Gordon (Velma) Bennett, and Eileen (Ken) Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bonnie (Gene) Reeser and Charlotte Freese; and one grandson, Damond Bennett.
