CONDE — Dawson Smith, 22, of Conde, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, as the result of an automobile accident.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Turton, with the Rev. Tom Hartman and Deacon Jeff Schulte officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Masks are required. The Mass will be live-streamed. His ashes will be spread on the family farm.
Dawson Dakota Smith was born Nov. 4, 1998, in Watertown, to Loren Smith and Patrice Williams. He graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute with a degree in diesel technology in May 2020.
He is survived by his parents, Loren Smith (Sheryl Gaspar) and Patrice Williams; birth parents, Jamie Neel (Hansen) and Todd Erickson; siblings, Stacy Smith, Keri Smith, Andy Smith, Brittany (Jeff) Kreul, Trevor Hansen, Alexander Dutchuk, and Chloe Dutchuk; nieces and nephews; grandparents, Floyd and Carol Smith and Madonna Hildebrant; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lynn Hildebrant and Arliss Siert.
All memorial donations will go toward funeral expenses.
