MONTEVIDEO, Minn. — Delores Milbrandt, 86, of Montevideo, Minn., passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Luther Haven nursing home in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sparta Township. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. A short prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Delores Marjorie (Kurtzbein) Milbrandt was born January 7, 1931, in Montevideo to Herman and Lydia (Weckwerth) Kurtzbein. She was united in marriage to Norman Milbrandt February 13, 1949. She worked as a teacher’s aide for 22 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband; children, Pamela (Harold) Wilkinson of Princeton, Minn, Michael of Montevideo, Minn., and James (Carol) of Huron; brothers, Duaine (Mary Lou) Kurtzbein of Montevideo, Minn., Denneth (Pat) Kurtzbein of Montevideo, Minn.; sister-in-law, Carol Kurtzbein; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Donald Kurtzbein.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials sent to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
