DE SMET — Dessie Wiebe, 94, of De Smet, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society at De Smet.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Faith Mennonite Church in rural Iroquois. Burial will be in the Faith Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Her visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., today at the Kuhler Funeral Home in Huron and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Faith Mennonite Church in rural Iroquois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; one son, Dale; one daughter-in-law, Victoria; six sisters; and five brothers.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her four children, Marilyn and Kenneth Fricke, Linda and Wesley Toews, Delton and Valerie Wiebe and Danny and Sharon Wiebe; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one brother, Noah Ratzlaff; one brother-in-law, Stuart Wedel; and the Wiebe family, Phyllis and Bev Toews, Linda Giesbrecht and Milton and Cheryle Warkentin.
