Mayor Paul Aylward proclaimed Sept. 11-16 as Direct Support Professional Week during the Huron City Commission meeting Monday Support Professionals Week gives the Center for Independence the opportunity to show appreciation for the valuable professionalism, caring attitude and immense patience and dedication its direct support staff displays in their jobs.
