HURON — Dixie Pieschke, 80, of Huron, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018, at her home in Huron.
Her Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 5, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family present, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Welter Funeral Home or one hour prior to the service.
Dixie Hein was born June 5, 1938, in Wessington Springs to Lawrence and Cecilia (Rejinski) Hein. She was united in marriage to John Bult May 31, 1954. She worked at the Crossroads, Flanery’s Beef Plant, Huron Dressed Beef and as a dietary aide for Huron School District. She married Charles Pieschke September 23, 1984. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, rummage sales and family get togethers.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Darrell Bult, Earl (Ann) Bult, Robert (Linda) Bult, Rod (Mary Jo) Bult, Brenda (Russ) Saulter of Summerset, and Sheila (Jim) Percy, of Blackhawk; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Hein of Huron, and Arthur Hein of Faulkton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Kenneth Hein, Peggy and Carol.
