ABERDEEN — The Doalnd High School classmates of 1967 celebrated their 50th reunion at the DEC in Aberdeen on Wednesday, Aug. 2. Twenty class members as well as their spouses and friends gathered to share memories and enjoy the program.
Mike Levsen, a 1967 classmate and current mayor of Aberdeen, welcomed the group; and Craig Wollman, the 1967 class president, served as the program’s master of ceremonies. David Mendel paid tribute to the memories of deceased class members, Francis Stahl, Connie Williamson Farris, and Dennis Wipf. Marla Muxen led the group in a series of informal questions about life experiences during the past 50 years.
Letters from classmates who were unable to attend were read, and Craig Wollman facilitated a game of trivia about high school events from 1963 to 1967. Clinton Wipf and David Mendel led the group in opening and closing prayers.
