WHEATON, Ill. — Donald M. Barrick, 75, of Wheaton, Illinois, formerly of Carthage,  passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, in Wheaton.
Don was born January 27, 1943, in Howard  to Maurice and Dorothy (Wallace) Barrick. He spent his early years in Winfred, California, and Carthage. He graduated from Carthage High School in 1961. He then moved to Illinois. His life revolved around his friendships through Don’s Auto Ade and loved playing and watching golf.
He is survived by one sister, Kathy Poppen of Madison; sister-in-law, Lenora Barrick of Carthage; a nephew, Maurice (Melissa) Barrick of Sioux Falls; three nieces, Michele (Jerry) Visser of Brookings,  Marsha (Don) Ackerman of Burnsville, Minn., Penny Millard of Madison; several great-nieces and nephews; and a stepdaughter, Candice Verner of St. Charles, Minn.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Barrick; several aunts; uncles; and many other relatives and friends.
