HIGHMORE — Donald C. Barklow, 82, of Highmore, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Donald Clair was born June 25, 1937, to Ray Erwin and Lila Belle (Lewis) Barklow at Oregon.
In 1955, Don married Sharon Bouzek in Reno, Nevada.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Sharon Barklow; two daughters, Darcie (John) Gessner and Lacey (Jim) Nappier; four stepchildren; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two step brothers, Roy Holland and Dale Holland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Leola (John) Engebretson; nephew, Danny Hilliard; niece, Sharry Hilliard; stepdaughter, Julie Finger; sister-in-law, Nancy Showalter; and step-granddaughters, Sarah and Naomi Finger.
Luze Funeral Home of Highmore has been entrusted with Don’s arrangements.
