BARNESVILLE, Minn., — Donald ‘Don’ Vancura, 55, of Barnesville, Minn., passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Visitation will be Thursday at 5:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., in the Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral on Friday.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 a.m., at the church, with Father Todd Arends presiding. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Lakefield, Minn., on Monday.
Donald Allen Vancura was born on March 12, 1965, to Joseph and Rosella (Glackin) Vancura.
On Sept. 12, 1987, Don married Carol Olson.
Don is survived by his wife, Carol; three children, Addrienne, Holly, and Eric; siblings, Delbert (Vicki) Vancura, Joyce (Bruce) Kiehn, Jean (Russ) Barkeim, and Randy (Shawna) Vancura; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Schafer, Cherry (Willis) Hunter, Dawn (John) Coughlin; and brother-in-law, Kirk Olson.
Preceding Don in death are his parents; Carol’s parents; brother, Gery Vancura; sister-in-law, Connie Olson; and his nephew, Josh Schafer.
