HURON — Donald A. Lundeen, 93, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home in Huron.
His Memorial Mass with military honors by Huron Veteran’s Council will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 1, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron with private burial in the St. Martin Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with a scripture and rosary service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Donald A. Lundeen was born September 25, 1925, in Alcester to David and Rudena (Anderson) Lundeen. He moved to Huron in 1926. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Hedbloms Clothing Store for many years, Northwest Pipe for four years and for John Schulte for 12 years. He was united in marriage to Joan Losey March 14, 1951. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron, and the American Legion Post #44. 
He is survived by his wife, Joan of Huron; children, Douglas (Kathy) Lundeen of Rapid City, and Rita (Allen) Timm of Fredonia, Wisc.; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his brothers, Melborn “Bud” (Marie), Kenneth (Phyllis), and sister, Ardis (Frank) Brown.
