REE HEIGHTS — Doneta May Kirschenmann, 68, of Ree Heights, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 19, at the Ree Heights Auditorium. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery at Ree Heights. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the auditorium.
Doneta May was born April 13, 1951, in Abilene, Kan. to Alvie and Etta (Reese) Rader. She grew up in Kansas and graduated from Durham High School in 1969. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Kirschenmann in 1972. The couple worked side by side on his family farm in Harrold until 1977, when they moved to Ree Heights. She was a member of the Ree Heights Community Church.
She is survived by sons, Steve, Mike, and Roger Kirschenmann all of Ree Heights; siblings, Jerry and Eileen (Stefan) Rader, Diana (Rader), and Tom Hawthorne; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; and brother, Larry.
