HURON — In an effort to review the South Dakota Department of Transportation (DOT) proposals for the reconstruction of Dakota Ave. through downtown Huron, the POP Ice Cream Shop - in the old Habichts building, 274 Dakota Avenue South - will host a downtown business forum, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be for downtown business owners and property owners to meet to discuss changes exclusive to the Market Street to 5th Street South area.
While public input to property owners and business owners before the meeting is welcome, space at the meeting is limited to the downtown property owners, downtown business owners, Huron Chamber members, and invited guests for the meeting.
Public input for the downtown and other areas of the project is encouraged at the DOT website for the project: dot.sd.gov/projects-studies/projects/public-meetings.
