HURON – Downtown Huron will be the place to be on Saturday for the Downtown Street Fest, set to begin at 11 a.m. at Third Street and Dakota Avenue South, with hours of activities, culminating in a Poker Walk starting at Hurst’s Corner at 5 p.m. followed by a street dance from 9 p.m. to midnight and featuring the Black Water Band for those 18 and over.
Proceeds from the walk will benefit the United Way Heartland Region.
There will be a variety of activities for all ages, including games, a cane ball tournament, a bean bag tournament, music and food.
Also, there will be shopping galore with downtown businesses and businesses around town.
