Anyla Sporrer, an 18-year veteran of People’s Transit in Huron, was selected as the 2018 Dakota Transit Association Driver of the Year. Sporrer, left, is pictured with People’s Transit Executive Director Gayle Kludt who noted in her nomination that Sporrer has a long record of courteous and safe driving. She has endured sometimes turbulent changes of five executive directors, “yet she remained faithful to People’s Transit and her profession,” Kludt said.
