IROQUOIS — Duncan Flann, 85, of Iroquois, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
His Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Iroquois with burial in the Maplewood Cemetery in Iroquois. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. 
Duncan Flann was born April 9, 1933, in Lake Lillian, Minn. to Ellsworth J. and Ruth M. (Hunter) Flann. He attended schools and graduated from Bird Island High School. He graduated from Augsburg College in Minn. in 1957 with a degree in finance.  He became the president of the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Iroquois where he remained for 50 years.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Iroquois. His Trinity United Methodist Church family were very important to him as well as his actual family and he loved visiting with his family and many friends. Duncan also enjoyed traveling to many places including Russia, Israel and Norway.
He is survived by his siblings, Dallas (Sharon) Flann of Overland Park, Kan., and Douglas (Alice) Flann of Bloomington, Minn., and Nancy Shepherd of Aptos, Calif.; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gual; and several nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his siblings, Cyrus Flann, Merrielgien Gual, and Sharon (Norman) Seehusen.
