Dwight Hale

HURON — Dwight Dean Hale, 83, of Huron, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, in an auto accident near Madison.
A family hosted Celebration of Life for Dwight will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Prime Time Tavern.
Dwight Dean Hale was born Jan. 19, 1940, to Clarence Willard and Roberta (McCoy) Hale in Bethany, Mo.
He received a master’s degree in civil engineering, which led him to a 42-year career with the Natural Resource Conversation Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. His favorite hobby was gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sherri Timperley; and his wife, Elaine Hale.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindi (Terry) Ivestal of Custer; two sisters, Norena Hale (Wayne) of Plymouth, Minn., and Twila (Scott) Fontenot of Humble, Texas; and four grandchildren, Uriah Herding, Tyler Herding, April (Jim) Wingle and Amber (Zach) Gronewold.
