Earl Neumeyer, 94, of Belle Fourche

BELLE FOURCHE — Earl Neumeyer, 94, of Belle Fourche, and formerly Huron, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, in Spearfish.
 The funeral service will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., at St. James Lutheran Church in Belle Fourche.
Interment will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron.
Earl served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He served four years.  He married Doris Meisenhelder on October 20, 1946. Later, during the Korean War, Earl was recalled to the service.  
He worked for many years in the plumbing business, including as part owner of the Burnison and Neumeyer Plumbing. He was the S.D. State Plumbing Inspector and he also worked for HUD and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
 After retiring, they moved to the Black Hills and settled in Belle Fourche.
 Survivors include his two daughters, Linda (Edward) McAtee of Winston Salem, N.C.; and Janelle (Greg) Taggart of Isleton, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and 4 sisters.
