HURON — Eleanor F. Salveson, 90, of Huron, passed away at her home in Huron.
Her graveside service will be 11 a.m, Monday, January 14, at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Huron.
Eleanor Florence Jaskierski was born January 27, 1928, in Chicago, Ill. to Bartholemew and Mary (Rapacz) Jaskierski. She attended St. Mary of Nazareth Nursing School in Chicago and was a Registered Nurse for many years.
She was united in marriage to Ted Salveson in Huron and later divorced. She worked at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home for many years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and was devout with her faith. She enjoyed watching EWTN channel, especially Mother Angelica, and spending time at the Salvation Army. She also loved animals.
She is survived by her son, Ted J. Salveson III of Huron; and son-in-law, Brian Bertsch of Huron
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Frances.
