REDFIELD — Elizabeth “Betty” O. Josewski, 88, of Redfield, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 25, at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Interment will follow in the Tulare Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., at Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m.
Elizabeth “Betty” O. Yager was born December 26, 1928, near Tulare to David and Lydia (Frankenfeld) Yager. She graduated from Tulare High School. She was united in marriage to Clyde Josewski April 19, 1948. She was employed by the Redfield Community Memorial Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Redfield, the Good Sam Camping Club and volunteered at the Tri-County Good Samaritan Food Pantry for 15 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ed Sharp) Romo of Mina Lake; nieces, Sandra McNeill, Rose Thompson, Bonnie Thompson, Anette Snodgrass, Dena Gabriel, Crystal Harrington, and Judy Smith; nephews, David Yager, Jr., Duane Yager, Keith Josewski, Bruce Josewski, Steve Swaney, and Al Swaney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; granddaughter, Rebecca Romo; siblings, Ada, David, Paul and Ralph.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home.
