Fall Orientation Meeting set Wednesday at HHS

HURON — The Fall Orientation Meeting for all Huron High School athletes and their parents is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the HHS auditorium.
In addition to all high school athletees and their parents, any middle school athletes, who are participating in cross country, girls’ tennis, boys’ golf, boys’/girls’ soccer and cheer/dance, should attend with their parents.
Athletes are encouraged to obtain the required paperwork, which is available at the Huron Arena office, and have it complete prior to the Fall Orientation Meeting. Paperwork will also be availabe during the event, with officials arriving at 6 p.m. to distribute it.

Athletes are reminded that all required paperwork is due before they will be allowed to practice.
A presentation for Screening America will also be given during the Fall Orientation Meeting. Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention Screening will be offered to Huron athletes on Aug. 14.
The screening includeds a limited echocardiogram, 12 led EKG, health history, blood pressure check and is reviewed by a local board certified cardiologist.
