Farmers Market begins to deliver orders to Huron

HURON — The Huron Farmers Market is now offering free delivery of produce and other items to Huron on Thursday, Jan. 28, Thursday, Feb. 25, and Thursday, March 25, from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

The vendors will be providing deliveries to the northwest corner of Coborn’s parking lot, near the Lion’s recycling bin.

Orders are required by the Tuesday prior to each drop off event.

The following vendors will be participating, and people may text or call them to place orders.

• Larson’s Country Rainbow (larsonscountryrainbow@outlook.com, (605) 860-8782): Offering four varieties of potatoes, onions, 16 flavors of jams and jellies, sourdough bread and angel food cakes.

• Fairacre Farm (edithjesser@hotmail.com, 461-9661): Offering fresh local honey, hand cream made from beeswax, strawberry rhubarb jam, porridge bread and buns.
