RAPID CITY — Faye Elizabeth Bradeen Peterson, 96, of Rapid City, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Hospice of the Hills.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Faye was born February 2, 1922, in Crawford, Neb.  to Bert and Myrtle Bradeen. She graduated from Custer High School in 1940. She was united in marriage to Erven Forrest Peterson June 14, 1940. The couple farmed near Woonsocket for five years before moving to rural Cavour where they resided until 1984. They then retired from farming, moved to Custer and enjoyed many years of exploring every back road in the Black Hills.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Norman) Tschetter, Linda (John) Knox, and Susan McNaboe; extended family, Todd Tschetter ( Michele Kohler) and his son, Geddy, Kelley (Michael) Tschetter Herman and son, Damon, Jayne (Clark) Knox Kraemer and daughter, Allyson (Nick) Kraemer Formanek and son, Justin Kraemer, Timothy McNaboe and children, Ben, Jake and Elliott, and Kale (April) McNaboe and daughters, Cloe, Abby and Sophie; great-great-granddaughter, Maren Faye Formanek; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erven; siblings, Hazel Johnson, Marvin (Beulah), Howard (Dorothy), and Robert (Norma), as well as infant brothers, Forrest and Bert.; nephew, Larry Johnson; and niece, Nancy Bradeen Hendrickson.
