FCCLA teaches about stress relief

Posted

Iroquois eighth-graders learned about FCCLA and their national program, Student Body. The Student Body program helps members learn to make informed, responsible choices for their physical and mental health, while also providing opportunities to teach others. Students  learned about stress in their FACS class and ways to deal with stress. Once they were done, they decided to share what they learned with the fourth-grade class in Iroquois. The first day they read a book about stress and taught fourth- graders yoga. The second day they made calm down jars consisting of soap, water, and glitter.
