Huron contestant Cameron Schroder, Miss Railroad Junction, won the $500 Community Scholarship, for demonstrating her dedication to service in the community through volunteerism. Schroder took her platform message, “That’s Garbage” into more than 20 classroms to teach how consumer habits are having a negative impact on the environment.
Schroder was also named as the winner of the $500 Miracle Maker and Childrens Miracle Network Legacy Scholarships.
