HURON — Frances Louise Krumm, 74, of Huron, beloved daughter, sister, sister-in -law, aunt and friend to many, passed away quietly early Monday, November 9, 2020.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Frances was born July 8, 1946, in Huron, daughter of loving and caring parents, Irvin and Dorothy Krumm.
Frances graduated from Huron High School and attended Huron College. She spent her entire life in Huron. She loved her family and she loved Huron.
If Frances had a pedometer attached to her many years ago, she would have a world’s record for “steps”. She walked the neighborhoods of Huron most days and always greeted those she met on her walks with a big smile! And she loved sitting at McDonalds drinking coffee and visiting with others there! Frances was a member of United Methodist Church. She was blessed to have good caregivers over her lifetime, and the family is especially grateful to the physicians and nurses at Huron Medical Center for all the services they provided, and to all the nurses, aids and staff who were so good to Frances at Violet Tschetter Nursing Home and to Avantara Care Center over these many years. They provided Frances with great personal care and support.
She is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Terwilliger (Don), Rilla Vieregg; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Dr. Barbara Spears.
Heaven is a promise of peace, love and eternal life for each one who believes. “Today shall thou be with me in paradise.”
Welter Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
