HURON — Dr. Rick Fuchs of Mitchell has been elected Vice President of the South Dakota Dental Association (SDDA). Previously he was Speaker of the House of Delegates and a member of the SDDA’s Board of Trustees. He was also President of the Southern District Dental Society and President of the South Dakota Society of Orthodontists. In 2021 he was recognized as the SDDA’s Young Dentist of the Year.
Fuchs is the owner of Fuchs Orthodontics in Mitchell and Huron where he has practiced since 2008.
