MILLER — The WISSOTA late models put on the race of the night on Saturday at Miller Central Speedway.
Lyndon Bolt led the first fourteen laps, but with four cars closing in, Bolt made the wrong move around a lapped car and suddenly found himself in fifth.
Curt Gelling took the lead and held on for his sixth win at the Miller Central Speedway, with Kelly Duffy, David McDonald, Kent Arment and Chad Becker rounding out the top five.
The Pump N Pak pure stocks led off the feature races with Kyle Elsen moving from fourth to first on the start and leading all the way over Jordan Rawstern, Luke Johnson, Mike Hammill and Brandon Hammill. It was Elsen’s eighth feature win at the Speedway.
In the WISSOTA street stock main, Broc Stout moved from third to the lead on the first lap. Stout led the first six laps and then spun out in turn two. Preston Blackwell took the lead on the restart and scored his fourth feature win, all of which have come in the last six races. Andy Rossow, Blayne Baloun, Clifford Houser and Stout rounded out the top five.
The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds were up next. Dylan Zabel led the first seven laps before Lorin Johnson ran him down and scored his 70th mid mod feature win at the speedway, followed by Kyle Harkin, Zabel, Camden Myers and Lane Johnson
The WISSOTA modifieds started with Nick Grehl leading the first nine laps before Kent Arment reeled him in. Arment went on to his 13th mod feature win and 598th career win over Tyler McDonald, David Carlson, Duane Zabel and Justin Boomsma.
The WISSOTA super stocks put on a show with Kipp DeGroot leading the first lap by a foot over Kip Myers. Myers took the lead, but a yellow put DeGroot back in front. This time it took three more laps for Myers to take over and win his eighth super stock feature at Miller over, Cole Searing, DeGroot, Tyler Anglin and Dale Tomes.
The races will return to Sunday night this week with all classes competing, starting at 7 p.m.
