Brad and Lisa Brimmer of Huron wanted to show their granddaughter, Jeriann Fergen, the value and importance of volunteering - to give something without the expectation of a reward for doing it. So, the Brimmers chose to volunteer at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant in De Smet, along with Jeriann’s great-grandparents, Paul and Ann Roby. Paul is an Ingalls descendant, as he is descended from Aaron Ingalls, an uncle of Charles Ingalls, Laura Ingalls Wilder’s father. The act of volunteering made for a unique three-generation opportunity at the recent Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant.
