Gloria Kay Burnett Aronoff of Phoenix, Ariz.

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Gloria Kay Burnett Aronoff of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Huron, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, in Phoenix.
Gloria was born Aug. 25, 1947, to Roger and Mary Margaret (Kasperson) Burnett. She attended grade school in a one-room country school, graduated from Huron High School and Huron University. After college, she taught elementary school in Wolsey.
On August 16, 1969, she married Jeffrey Aronoff in New York. Gloria was a “people person,” with an infectious smile. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading and sewing was her passion. Gloria volunteered at the Back-to-School Clothing Drive Association and sewed little girl clothing and doll clothes for those in need. She was affectionately known as “The Doll Lady.”
Gloria is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; three sons, Adam (Michelle), Scott (Julie) and Gregory (Kate); six grandchildren, Alex, Mila, Cale, Gabriella, Xander and Evie; as well as her mother and siblings, Roger (Susan), Judy Metter and Gail (Todd) Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria’s request is for memorials to be directed to the Back-to-School Clothing Drive Association, 360 E Coronado Rd, No. 200, Phoenix, AZ, 85004.
