WESSINGTON — Goldie M. Boggs, 89, of Wessington, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society-Miller in Miller.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 11, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wessington with burial in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Miller. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Goldie May Palmer was born April 1, 1929, in Armour to Curtis J. and June W. (Ferguson) Palmer. She attended school in Armour and Platte. She was united in marriage to Kenneth D. Rehder November 21, 1945. She worked wherever she lived, which was many places. She met and married Harry Boggs in 1981. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and St. Joseph’s and St. Ann’s Catholic Churches.
She is survived by her children, Darlene Rehder of Ohio, and Dale Rehder of Ranchester, Wyo.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Johnson of Hermosa, and Betty Carmody of Wessington.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; parents, June and Shiel Carmody; father, Curtis J. Palmer; siblings, Mary (Wilbur) Mattson, Frances Carmody, Daniel Carmody and John Carmody; great-grandson, Aron Rehder.
