WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Harold Ruben Hasz, 99 of Wessington Springs, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, with his family by his side.  
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday March 30, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wessington Springs. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.    
Harold Hasz was born December 12, 1919, in Wessington Springs to Jacob and Mary (Mogck) Hasz. He was united in marriage to  Eldora Kopfmann October 29, 1950. He was very proud that the Hasz Farm stayed in the family for over 100 years.
He is survived by his wife; five children,  Donna (Frank) Bult of Springfield, Carolyn (Tim) Knight of Mitchell, Steve (Rita) Hasz of Rapid City, Tom (Sue) Hasz of Wessington Springs, and Roger (Julie) Hasz of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;  six stepgreat-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Dick Lewallen of Wessington Springs.
He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Ana Elizabeth Knight, siblings, Emil, Leland, John, Richard, Edna Thum, Irene Hackett, Elva Dollinger Juanita Robertson, Pearl Lewallen, and Flossie Lewallen.
The family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.
