GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Harold Sam Wipf, 90, formerly of Huron, Lincoln Mo., and Medford Ore., passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Grants Pass, Ore.
His memorial services and burial were held at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore., on December 23, 2020.
Harold Wipf was born west of Willow Lake, on August 6, 1930, to Samuel E. and Susie (Pullman) Wipf.
On November 4, 1954, he married Toki Aoki at Tokyo, Japan. On December 23, 1979, he married Helen (Hood) Gifford at Jacksonville, Ore.
He is survived by his children, Jane Ann (Wipf) Salazar (G. Jerry Salazar), Herbert Susumu Wipf (Dawn), and Harold Shigeru Wipf (Cindy); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, (James Alan Wipf); his brother, Marvin Wipf; and sisters, Esther (Wipf) Arends, Joyce (Wipf) Huber, Dorothy (Wipf) Putnam, and two infant sisters.
