HURON — Hyland Heinz and Clay Korkow of Huron rallied during the second day to win the 2018 Huron Country Club Invitational overall title.
With a score of three after the opening day of competition on Saturday, Heinz and Korkow were sixth in the standings. They were plus-10 on Sunday to finish with plus-13 overall and won the tourney by five points.
Zack Cranston and Tyler Waddle, who were second in the opening round on Saturday with a plus-9, finished second overall at plus-8.
Alex Wheeler and Derrick Walraven were third with a plus-7, followed by Logan Kopfmann and Matt George at plus-4. Jared Smith and Nate Sondreal were even with a 0 for the fifth spot, while Chad Wilde and Lance Tschetter were sixth at minus-2.
