HURON — Huron High School football coach Scott Spanton has announced the Players of the Week following a 21-6 victory for the Tigers against Yankton in the opening round of the Class 11AA playoffs last week.
In the first photo, on the left, earning the offensive honors for Huron was running back Landon Hegg, who carried the ball for 61 yards. And on the right, defensive honors went to Carter Hott.
In the second photo, on the left, Spencer Hershman earned the special teams honor. And on the right, Tyson Ruth was named as the scout team Player of the Week.
Huron will travel to face Brookings in the 11AA semifinals at 7 p.m., on Friday.
