Hitchcock-Tulare wins over JVC

HURON — The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots recorded a 47-30 victory over the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings in Class “B” girls’ basketball action, Monday night at Huron.
Hitchcock-Tulare improved to a 6-9 season record, with Elizabeth Salmen totaling 14 points to lead the team, while another 11 points were added by Kaitlyn Rathjen.
The Lady Vikings were led by Karilyn Wieting with 10 points, as the team fell to a 4-10 record with the loss.
James Valley Christian will host Mitchell Christian today, while the Lady Patriots will host Iroquois on Thursday in Hitchcock.

Redfield-Doland 54, Potter County 30
GETTYSBURG — The Redfield-Doland Pheasants girls’ basketball team took a 54-30 win over the Potter County Lady Battlers, Monday evening at Gettysburg.
Redfield-Doland were led by Trista Frost with 16 points as the only player to reach double figure score. An improved season record of 10-4 is now held by the Pheasants after the win.
Potter County, now dropped to 5-11 on the season, was led by Jenna Robbennolt with eight points in losing efforts for the Lady Battlers.
Redfield-Doland will host Warner today, while Potter County will travel to Faulkton Area.
