HRMC Cutest Baby voting is now open

HURON — In celebration of new life and anticipation of warmer weather, Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is hosting its 11th annual Cutest Baby contest, according to Kim Rieger, VP of marketing for HRMC.
“If there’s any year we needed a little boost as we waited for spring, it was this year with all of the cold and snow,” said Rieger. “This contest gives us a chance to have a little competitive fun searching for ‘the cutest baby’ while celebrating the miracle of new life.”
During the month of March, parents and grandparents were encouraged to enter a picture or short video of their precious baby on Facebook.
The nominee needed to live in HRMC’s seven-county service area and be under the age of 12 months as of March 1.
Now in April, the contest will feature daily voting on Facebook.
“Of course, all babies are cute – this contest gives us a chance to brighten each day by scrolling through all of the 71 entries once every 24 hours,” explained Rieger. “So, parents are encouraged to promote daily voting to family and friends.”
Winners will be chosen via a People’s Choice vote. The top vote getter will win the grand prize of a $100 certificate to a photo studio in Huron, baby gear valued at $100, commemorative onesie and blanket and a starring role in an upcoming HRMC television commercial.
The runner-up winner will receive a commemorative plaque and baby gear valued at $50.
Voting closes on Tuesday, April 30, at 4 p.m.
