HRMC restricting visitors due to COVID-19

Posted

HURON — Due to the recent increases in COVID-19 positive cases, Huron Regional Medical Center has made the decision to stop all visitation at the hospital and clinics with the exception of the Birthing Center, which will allow one support person for the entire stay.

The restrictions are to protect the health and safety of our patients, families and staff and we appreciate the support of the community in taking safety precautions. Please continue to be diligent in wearing your mask, social distancing, washing your hands and staying home while sick to prevent the spread.

During this time, friends and family are encouraged to call, text, FaceTime or use social media to connect with patients. Signs are posted at the hospital to alert visitors of the updated restrictions and designated visitor entrances with staff available.

Watch social media for additional updates and changes. Up-to-date information about the COVID-19 illness is available on HRMC’s website at www.huronregional.org/COVID-19.
