Hser Hser Khu, who was born at 11:25 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 2, 2020, in the Birthing Center at Huron Regional Medical Center, is the hospital’s first baby born in 2020. She weighed in at 8-pounds, 13-ounces and was 21 inches long. She is pictured with her proud parents, Pee Tee and Maung Kyi Soe of Huron.
Hser Hser is the couple’s fourth child but, much to her mother’s delight, is their first girl. She joins her three brothers Lay Ta Soe, Lay Eh Sher Kuh Soe and Ta Eh Sere Plah. In celebration of her birth, Hser Hser and her family received a gift bag with a musical, stuffed lamb from the HRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop, a commemorative photo tile and a bottle of sparkling cider.
