Gose, Heinz honorable mention

HURON — Huron senior Bryn Huber was named to the All-Eastern South Dakota Conference volleyball team, which was announced Monday.

Huber, who is the Libero for the Tigers, finished with a team-high 633 digs this season and was 290 of 324 serving with 33 aces.

Senior Brynn Gose and junior Hamtyn Heinz earned honorable mention for Huron on the All-ESD team.

Gose recorded a team-high 247 kills this season for her outside hitter position, while Heinz finished with 707 set assists and recorded a team-high 35 ace serves.

Also selected to the All-ESD team were senor Sydney Evans and junior Grace Kuch of Aberdeen Central; senior Josey Wickersham and junior Mya Hejl of Brandon Valley; senior Gracie Adamson of Brookings; senior Morrisen Samuels and freshman Gabi Zachariasen of Harrisburg; senior Lizzie Taylor of Mitchell; seniors Lily Sanchez and Ayvrie Kaiser of Pierre; and senior Kendall Paulson of Watertown.
Senior Kayleigh Hybertson of Harrisburg also earned honorable mention.
