Huron Bantams win three games during jamboree

HURON — The Huron All-Stars went 3-1 during the Huron Bantam Jamboree, which was held Saturday and Sunday at Bergman Arena.
The All-Stars opened the event with a 6-5 victory against Worthington (Minn.) on Friday.
Foster Ferguson and Izaiah Phillips each had a goal for the All-Stars in the opening period.
Jayden Bogh scored for Huron in the second period, while Phillips had a pair of goals and Ferguson added another in the third period.
Cooper Letcher earned the win in the net.
Letcher then inked a shutout, as the All-Stars blanked Sioux Center 6-0 on Saturday.
Phillips finished with a hat trick for Huron, while Ferguson, Drew Arteman and Nick Freeman each had a goal.

Five different players scored to help the All-Stars to a 6-4 win over Watertown in a second game on Saturday.
Ferguson had a pair of goals, while Arteman, Will Burns, Phillips and Michael Ready each had a score.
Connor McCloud earned the win in the net for Huron.
In the final game Sunday, Oahe edged the All-Stars 4-3.
Scoring for Huron were Phillips, Bogh and Arteman.
McCloud was in the net for the All-Stars.
