BRANDON — The Huron cheer and dance teams close their seasons on Saturday at the Class AA Championships.
The Tigers were 11th overall in the final cheer standings with 199 points.
O’Gorman amassed 283.5 points to claim the cheer title, while Harrisburg was second at 280.
Rounding out the top five in the 18-team final standings were Sioux Falls Jefferson at 277.5, Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 270 and Brandon Valley at 246.
With wins in the jazz and pom portions of the dance competition, Brandon Valley claimed the AA dance state title with a score of 298.
Sioux Falls Washington was second at 296.5, followed by Harrisburg at 291.25, Yankton at 284.75 and O’Gorman at 277.75.
Huron was 14th in the final dance standings at 240.75.
The Tigers were eighth in hip hop with a 253.5 and were ninth in pom with a 228.
Sioux Falls Washington won the hip hop with a 297.
