BROOKINGS – Sioux Falls Roosevelt took the cheer grand champion, while Brandon Valley took the grand champion in the dance competition on Saturday at the Brookings Invite.
Roosevelt won the cheer competition with a score of 282. O’Gorman, Washington, Sioux Valley, and Harrisburg filled out the top five.
Brandon Valley won the dance competition with a score of 383.5. Washington, Harrisburg, Dakota Valley, and Roosevelt rounded out the top five.
Huron posted a score of 157 to place 12th in cheer. The Tigers scored 300.5 to finish 10th in the dance competition.
Huron’s cheer and dance teams host an invite at the Huron Arena on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
