WATERTOWN — The Huron wrestling team went 2-2 to finish fourth during the Watertown Dual Tournament on Saturday.
The Tigers edged Mitchell 37-34 in their opening match, before being edged 38-32 by Aberdeen Central.
In its final match of the round robin portion of the event, Huron recorded a 46-30 victory.
The Tigers then faced Watertown for third place and came up on the short end of a 48-27 decision.
Harrisburg needed a tiebreaker to defeat Mitchell 30-29 in the championship match. Pierre defeated Aberdeen Central 42-29 to claim fifth, while Milbank defeated Yankton 48-36 to finish seventh.
Blake Larsen and Kameron Christensen each won championships for the Tigers in the Watertown JV Tournament, which was held in conjunction with the dual tournament.
Joe Gonzalez and Spencer Lord were third for Huron, while Will Radke and Cole Wolff were fourth.
Individual results were not available for the varsity matches against Yankton or Mitchell.
The Tigers return to action Thursday, when they will face Sturgis and Rapid City Central in Sturgis.
Huron will then participate in the Rapid City Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
